ELPEGUARD – Conformal coatings, encapsulants, two-component casting compound resins; opaque, transparent for electronics, LED optoelectronics and photovoltaics. Acrylic materials, polyurethanes, silicones, epoxies. Solvent based, water based, VOC free, thin/thick film.

Modified acrylic resin based

Tack-free drying in 15-20 minutes. Cures under oxygen, can be accelerated in 9 minutes at 80ºC.

Excellent resistance to moisture and saline environment. Exceeded BMW Standard GS95011-5.

Good thermal shock resistance

Working temperatures from -40ºC to +140ºC and Relative Humidity from 5% to 100%.

Easily cleaned for repairs

Mould resistance under IPC-CC-830B (fluorescent fit) - Meets UL 94 and ANSI/ UL746E, IPC-CC-830B, MIL-I-46058C

Does not contain toluene and is RoHS compliant.

Highly transparent, minimal luminance reduction and non-yellowing in LEDs

Flash point' very high.
